One of the key elements of our church’s vision is to serve others like Jesus.
Accordingly, we desire to create opportunities for students to serve in both on-going and project-specific ways. Whether they like to play an instrument, work with sound and light equipment, mentor young children, or accomplish hands-on projects, we have plenty of opportunities for students to get involved. Below is a sample of the weekly opportunities to serve.
Check out the following opportunities, and reach to us to know more about these or other ways to serve.
Students who like to play an instrument, sing, or both are welcome to audition for the student worship band. This team of middle and high school students lead worship weekly for Wednesdays @ Salt Factory (WSF) and for other special occasions throughout the year.
Anyone who would like to be a part of the media team can sign up to serve in one of these areas: sound or lighting/projection. This team assists with WSF and other events as needed. Students will learn on and use the same quality equipment and software that is utilized in the main sanctuary.
There are opportunities to serve in our Children and Preschool Ministries during the 11am worship service. You must be 12 or older to volunteer.
Students who are engaged in a small group are far more likely to experience consistent, effectual, and lasting spiritual growth. This is why we place such a large emphasis on Connect Groups.
