Our Pastoral Team

Pastor Tim was born in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1978. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 1981. He also received a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1984. While in seminary, Pastor Tim served as the Youth Minister for Grace Bible Church in Granbury, Texas. He began his ministry at First Baptist Kissimmee in 1985 as the Minister of Youth and Education and has served his entire full-time ministry with us. He became the Minister of Youth in 1989 and was called as the Senior Pastor in January of 1996. Pastor Tim and his wife, Nancy, have three children, Adam, Ashley and Jacob, as well as three grandchildren.

Jeff was born in Kissimmee, Florida. He graduated from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida in 1996. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Florida State University in 2000. He received a Master of Divinity Degree in Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004. He served on church staffs in Kentucky and Florida before joining us here at First Baptist in 2012. Jeff and his wife, Tessa, have three amazing children.

Charles was born in Cairo, Georgia. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Music from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he was the School of Church Music’s Presidential Scholar. He has served as the Associate Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida and as a Student Choir Director at First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. He is married to Carolyn. They have four sons, including a set of twins. Charles became our Worship Pastor in October of 2014.

Ariel (AJ) was born in Puerto Rico, where he grew up and where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2002, he moved to Tyler, TX, to complete a Christian Education program with the missionary organization, Youth with a Mission. He graduated in 2011 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Christian Education and certification in Hispanic Studies. In 2017, he completed a certification in Expository Preaching from Truett Seminary. He will be graduating with an MBA from Dallas Baptist University in 2024. He served as a bi-vocational church planter and pastor for two Baptist churches in Texas between 2006 and 2017. In 2009, he started working for Lifeway Christian Resources, his last role was as the Director of Marketing and Training for the Spanish Church Division. Ariel joined our staff in August of 2023. He is married to Yaditza, and they have two sons, Johann and Josiahs.

Pastor Brian serves on the NextGen Team as our Student & Young Adult Pastor where he leads the ministries to middle and high school students and their families.  He also ministers to our college students and young adults.  Pastor Brian has earned a B.A. in Education from Liberty University and an M.Div. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian and his wife, Laura, were married in 2015 and have three children. He desires to see the next generation grow both deep and wide in their relationship with Jesus.  Brian joined our staff in August of 2017.
