What is a Connect Group?
Connect Groups is our church’s primary strategy to connect people with Jesus and to build Great Commission Christians through open Bible Study Groups for all ages, meeting in our church facilities or in homes throughout the week.
What is the main goal?
Connect Groups exist to learn and obey God's Word, invite others into discipleship, cultivate deeper relationships, and engage in acts of service that reflect God's love.
What is our curriculum?
Our main curriculum, The Gospel Project (Lifeway), is a chronological Bible study that shows how all Scripture points us to Jesus. Each session will help people of all ages see how the Bible fits together to tell one big story—God's plan to rescue and redeem sinners through faith in Jesus Christ.
Connect Groups vs. D-Groups?
The distinction between Connect Groups and Discipleship Groups lies in their purpose and structure. Connect Groups are dynamic, ongoing, and open to all, with a group size of up to 15 people. In contrast, D-groups are more intimate, closed communities with a structured study sequence, requiring a deeper commitment and fostering accountability. D-Groups are intentionally homogeneous, focusing on gender-specific discipleship, with a maximum of 5 members per group.
