We are a loving, multi-generational and multi-ethnic family devoted to making disciples and reaching the world for Christ.
Jesus Christ made it very clear in two Bible passages why the church should exist…
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. The second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-40
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teach them to observe all that I command you.” Matthew 28:19-20
In these two passages we find our purpose of the Church:
Love:
We are to love God and love people
Connect:
We are to connect with God’s Word and God’s people
Serve:
We are to serve God and serve people
OUR BELIEFS
We at First Baptist Kissimmee, believe that a total commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will build a Great Church. We encourage you to join us in this endeavor by becoming a part of our body. We are all joined together in the love of God to be a visible expression of the head of our church, Jesus Christ.
We covenant together in the belief that the Bible is the sole authority for determining doctrine and Christian behavior. These doctrines of belief and practice which unify us in faith were memorialized in the Statement of Faith referred to as The Baptist Faith and Message Statement, adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention 2000. We covenant together to use The Baptist Faith and Message Statement as our primary guide in doctrinal matters and Christian conduct.

OUR HISTORY
Our church was established in 1890. Since then we have always had the commitment to bless Kissimmee and the nations with the Word of God.
A two session program that introduces our church beliefs, mission, and ministries, and where you can discover ways you can get involved using your unique God given gifts. We offer a new session the second week of every month. Sign up today!
